public class FieldValidation
extends WContainer

This is an example of a component that is used to validate a contained component. It supplies an instance of WValidationErrors for displaying an error box containing all validation errors and provides the validatable component with an extension of ValidatingAction used to perform the validation. If there are no validation errors then visibility is given to a simple component to show the success.

Note the additional validation

• WTextField will only accept alphabetic characters
• WDateField ensures that the date enter is before today
